For anything about your own benefits, application, payment, or appointment, you will need to reach the Social Security Administration directly at ssa.gov or by calling your local office. That includes:
- Checking the status of a claim or application.
- Changing your address, direct deposit, or benefit amount.
- Booking, moving, or canceling an appointment.
- Questions about your own eligibility or payments.
